Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
Beta service
OpenLAM is currently offered as an invite-only beta. The service is under active development: features may change, behavior may evolve, and there may be downtime or interruptions. We may add, modify, or remove functionality at any time.
Provided “as is”
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the output of the autonomous agents will be accurate or suitable for any particular use.
Acceptable use
OpenLAM runs autonomous agents that can browse the web, send messages, and take actions on your behalf. You agree not to use the service to:
- break the law or facilitate illegal activity;
- send spam, harass, deceive, or abuse others;
- attack, overload, scrape, or circumvent the security of any system you are not authorized to access;
- generate or distribute malware, fraud, or harmful content; or
- infringe the rights of others.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the goals you run and the actions your agents take as a result. You are also responsible for any third-party API keys and accounts you connect (model providers, payments, messaging, email, etc.), for keeping them secure, and for complying with those providers' own terms. Review what your agents do — autonomous systems can make mistakes.
Licensing
OpenLAM is dual-licensed. The source code is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0); if you self-host or build on it, your use is governed by that license. A separate commercial license is available for organizations that prefer not to comply with the AGPL's copyleft terms. Your use of the managed service is governed by these Terms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenLAM and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service — including any actions taken by autonomous agents. Because this is a free beta, our aggregate liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
